Why UX Is For Me

I am one hundred percent certain that UX is my preferred field.  After our unit concluded I began researching job and internship possibilities.

This profession is a good fit for me because I am naturally inclined to find problems easily and want to fix them. Before I enrolled in this bootcamp, I always looked at sites in this way, not liking things like a drop down menu, or the way something scrolled etc. This is in my blood and I can feel it.  I reall y enjoyed every single thing we have learned especially Figma and I am eager to learn more.

I would love to make clients happy and a few things in my work history would elevate me as a UX designer in my opinion.

When I worked in retail management I was expected to visually merchandise the store among other responsibilities and this gave me an eye to find things out place that would translate nicely into UX . Another big part of my employment history was selling products to people and BOY can I sell. This would be another good skill for UX to present to a stakeholder and convince them of my professional take on what’s best.

Before I enrolled in this bootcamp, I always looked at sites in this way, not liking things like a drop down menu, or the way something scrolled etc. This is in my blood and I can feel it. I am immensely going to pursue this field and from what I read, many companies prefer a degree. A particular post that I came across today seems well suited for me. This is for Activision and it is the only one I found that didn’t mention needing a bachelor’s degree. The only additional thing I would need is time. The post specifies that you must spend the summer focusing on projects directly related to game development. Also states that you must spend time learning about tech and game developing processes which is more than fair to request.
